Free US E-Sim for 30 days
Did you know that if you don't have a Canada/US package you can sign up for a free e-sim when you arrive in the US? I only recently signed up for a Canada US Package a few months ago (yay Boxing Day) so on our Arizona trip last April and our Disneyland trip this past September, I used this trick! The bonus part - you don't need a credit card! You do need an unlocked phone, so make sure to have your provider do that in advance and it has to be compatible with the company you are choosing to try. When you arrive at the airport, if you can't find these apps in the App Store, change your billing address to USA and put the address of your hotel so then you can download the app. These are the two I have tried and they work great!
